APC Success
Expert video training and one-to-one mentoring to help you achieve your SASC Assessment Practising Certificate with confidence.
The APC process is one of the most significant steps in a dyslexia assessor's career and for many, it is also one of the most daunting. If any of the following sound familiar, APC Success was built for you.

If any of these resonate, APC Success was designed for you.
All modules must be completed in order to qualify for the five-hour SASC-authorised CPD certificate.
All modules must be completed in the order presented.
Your three hours of mentoring are entirely personalised. Sessions can focus on report writing, statistical interpretation, understanding feedback from APC markers, or any other aspect of your APC preparation that you need support with.
Mentoring is delivered via Zoom and includes detailed, live feedback on your reports, giving you practical guidance on how to strengthen them. Please note that Sarah is unable to review or advise on any report you intend to submit directly for your APC.
In addition to your mentoring sessions, you will also have access to a monthly drop-in session where you can bring questions and connect with Sarah and other assessors.
If you need your mentoring sessions to begin within eight weeks of enrolling, please contact Sarah before purchasing to check availability. If you are planning to use your mentoring sessions between two and six months after enrolling, you can book these directly once you have started the course. All mentoring sessions must be completed within your six-month access period.
APC Success is delivered by Sarah Beard, APC, AMBDA, a dyslexia specialist assessor, tutor and trainer with over 30 years of experience in Specific Learning Difficulties. Sarah has extensive experience supporting assessors through the APC process and understands exactly what markers are looking for and what holds assessors back.
