Course Details

The WIAT 3T assesses single-word reading, single-word spelling, silent reading comprehension and oral reading, providing speed, accuracy and fluency scores. It is a valuable tool for diagnostic assessment, exam access arrangements and monitoring students’ progress. It is an approved SASC test.

In this webinar, Sarah takes you through the uses of the test, how to administer it and how to score it, including a discussion about the reversal rules. In the bonus training, Sarah discusses statistical significance and base rates. The training has been approved by SASC and provides clients with two hours of core SASC-accredited CPD (Reviewing principles of psychometrics, statistics, assessment and underlying theory and SpLD testing methods, interpretation, report writing, feedback and test materials).

You have 60 days to view the training from the date of purchase, allowing you the opportunity to rewatch as needed. You will require access to a examiner’s record form and if you do not have one, you can purchase one from sarah but allow 10 days for delivery —email [email protected]

So valuable! I have been so confused when trying to apply the revert rule for reading comprehension and fluency. This was so useful in explaining how to calculate the score. Thank you!

I enjoyed the presentation of the course. Sarah was relatable and engaging to listen to despite being a pre-recorded session. The information was logical, informative, practical and reflected real life experience/wisdom on pros and cons of the test materials. I now feel confident that this is going to be a favourite test for me to use.
